Welch Allyn Suretemp Plus Temperature Plate

Oral, axillary, or rectal temperatures can be measured with the Welch Allyn SureTemp Plus Temperature Plate. A dedicated temperature board is connected to the isolation board for data communication and power supply. Two infrared photodetectors (blurred in the picture due to the influence of the Welch Allyn temperature probe) are supported by a main microcontroller.

The board provides electrical isolation for data communication and power between the main controller board, the Covidien/Nellcor SpO2 OxiMax board, and the WelchAllynSureTemp Plus temperature board. The board is covered with a protective clear plastic casing.

USB board

The CARESCAPETM VC150 has various USB connections. There are three regular USB-A ports; USB-B comes with a port that can be used to connect a future medical USB.
